These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any services you buy from Dovetail Ventures LLC (“Dovetail Ventures”, “we”, “us”), a Texas limited liability company. By using the site, placing an order or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Our services

Dovetail Ventures provides consulting on applications and SaaS platforms, AI training, and related professional services. Specific engagements may be covered by a separate written agreement or statement of work; where one exists, it takes precedence over these Terms for that engagement.

2. Orders, bookings and payment

Prices are shown on the site in US dollars and may change at any time. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
An order or booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if a price was shown in error or a service is unavailable — and will refund any amount you paid.
Sessions are held by appointment. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible.

3. Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled session, we will refund your payment in full. Cancellations made later than that, or missed sessions, may not be refundable. If we cancel a session, you will receive a full refund or a new time of your choosing. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate information when you order or book, and not to use this site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, or send spam or malicious content.

5. Intellectual property

The content of this website — text, graphics, logos and design — belongs to Dovetail Ventures or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, you own the materials you provide to us, and we grant you the right to use any advice, documents or deliverables we prepare for you for your own business purposes.

6. Third-party links

This site links to other websites, including our own projects (such as WorldTumbler, ExploraQuest and MostlyHostly), each of which has its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we do not operate under these Terms.

7. Disclaimer

The site and our services are provided “as is”. Consulting and training reflect our professional judgment, but we do not guarantee any particular business, technical or financial outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dovetail Ventures will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not affect orders already confirmed.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
